The Seventh Pacific-Asia Conference on
Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining (PAKDD-03) aims to provide a forum for
academic researchers and industry practitioners to share original research
results and development experiences from different KDD related areas such as
data mining, data warehousing, machine learning, databases, statistics,
knowledge acquisition and discovery, data visualization, and knowledge-based
systems. The conference solicits research papers as well as proposals
for tutorials and workshops on all aspects of knowledge discovery and data
mining.

The paper should consist of a cover page with title,
authors' names, postal and e-mail addresses, an approximately 200 word
summary, up to 5 keywords and a body not longer than 12 single-spaced pages with font
size at least 11 pts. All papers must be submitted electronically in PDF
format only, using the conference management tool. Detailed instructions will
be available at http://aitrc.kaist.ac.kr/~pakdd03.
Only when on-line submissions are not possible, should
five copies of the paper be sent to one of the program co-chairs at the

All submitted papers will be reviewed on the basis of technical
quality, relevance to KDD, originality, significance,
and clarity. Accepted papers are expected to be published in the
conference proceedings.
Tutorial Proposal Submission

Tutorial
proposals must clearly identify the intended audience. A proposal should
include, in English, a description and outline of the proposed contents;
names, affiliations, and biographical sketches of the speaker(s). The
intended length of the tutorial (3 or 6 hours) should also be indicated.
