The Department of Statistics at Kyungpook National University, South Korea, invites applications for a full-time
tenure track or tenured faculty position in all research areas of statistics to begin March 1, 2010. This position is
open for non-Korean scientists only.
The responsibilities of this position include both research and teaching. Teaching will be conducted in English.
Non-native English speakers must have teaching experiences in English spoken class. Applicants are expected to
have demonstrated outstanding research potential in statistics. The applicants should have a Ph.D. degree with
strong research backgrounds and achievements. Governmental research grants are applicable for faculty
research.
The school offers an excellent environment for research. The salary starts from 60,000,000 KRW depending on the
experiences. Faculty housing is also available from spring semester, 2010. The application including curriculum
